About Odile Mir:
Odile Mir (1926-2021) was a multifaceted French artist and designer, known for her work in sculpture, painting, illustration, and decorative arts. Born in Toulouse, she studied sculpture at the École des Beaux-Arts in Casablanca, Morocco, and later developed a diverse body of work that blended artistic expression with functional design.

In the 1960s and 1970s, she designed furniture and lighting for prominent French retailers, including Le Printemps and Prisunic. Her work has been celebrated for its originality, elegance, and expressive artistry, and her legacy continues to influence contemporary design through re-editions of her creations.
