Fantastic comfortable 1st edition Maggiolina lounge chair by Marco Zanuso for Zanotta, Italy 1970's.
Originally designed by Marco Zanuso in 1947 for a competition sponsored by the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Maggiolina lounge chair has gone on to become a design icon and has been manufactured by Zanotta since 1972.
A fantastic example of early mid century Italian design, the chair went on to win the gold medal at the Milan Triennale in 1948.
